I don't understand why Creative has a driver and also has an entry for the 2 ZS in Add/Remove programs? My inclination is to install the Audigy 2 ZS driver I downloaded from the Creative link you provided, but I don't know what to do about the Sigmatel driver. I do muck around the system but I am now more confused. To shut me up they installed a second 250G drive. After hours on the telephone, I convinced them that I've been using a second hard drive for backups for years. They removed the RAID but they replaced my two 120G hard drives for one 250G drive. In the process I asked them to remove the RAID since that seemed to be part of the problem and was of little value to me. So maybe I need both? I've never disabled that startup but I've always been curious about the name stsystra since that implies something in the tray but the only thing close is the Creative icon.ĭell could have their records confused since my desktop is a replacement for one they couldn't fix. Dell makes mistakes (so what's new?), but I also have a startup SigmatelSysTray App, stsystra.exe in HK_Local Machine Run. They also listed a Sigmatel driver and a Creative Integrated Invitation. Still, it's a quick way to check for driver problems.ĭell listed the X-FI XtremeMusic for my desktop and recommended it. I had previous problems with DriverAgent so I let my subscription expire last month. >DriverAgent screws up all the time and i don't know where it gets some of its drivers from.
